Find out moreTeesside is changing fast. Alongside its long history in chemicals, steel and engineering, it now has a growing digital and creative sector, major clean energy and manufacturing projects, and new government offices. That mix creates a lot of small and medium sized businesses that depend on their IT and need it looked after properly.
Cyber Fits is a family run IT company based in Sunderland. We look after businesses of around 5 to 100 staff across the North East, and Teesside is towards the southern edge of the area we cover. We will be honest about that: we do not have an office on Teesside, and visits involve a drive down the A19. In practice, most support is delivered remotely, and we plan onsite visits so the distance does not get in the way.
Through our sister brand Virtual Voice Office we can also provide internet based phones for Teesside teams, which is worth considering now that BT is switching off the old analogue telephone network, with completion due by the end of January 2027.
Most day to day problems are fixed remotely. Your team calls 0191 543 3432, emails support@cyberfits.co.uk or logs a ticket, and an engineer connects securely to the computer with permission. Because our monitoring tools let us see problems such as failing disks or missed updates early, many issues are dealt with before anyone notices.
For work that needs someone on site, such as new equipment, network installations or a server replacement, we plan visits in advance and group jobs together so the travel is used well. For urgent hardware faults we will agree the best approach with you, which may include keeping a spare device ready configured on site. Our support hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
